Why not eat at the famous Anstruther Fish Bar. Voted 'Britains Best Fish and Chip shop'. This is truely a great chippy! The queues can be long so timing is everything!!
Whatever you choose you'll have made the right decision. There are a number of large fish merchants in St Monans so you wont run out, and they offer freshly caught lobster, langoustine and locally smoked fish.
Organic food. Buy your beef from the Ardross Farm shop, it's only a couple of miles away heading towards Elie and offers beautiful meat along with various other local produce.. try the tablet ice cream..!!!!!
A fantastic delicatessen in St Andrews (owned by the Seafood Restaurant) called Butler & Company. You really want to go there, but can get them to deliver to you! Opposite is Fisher and Donaldsons, it's a local bakery and famous for its 'fudge doughnuts'.
If it's cheese your after.. I.J.Mellis's has one of his shops in St Andrews, you'll smell it before you see it..... taste buds ago-go!
