where is anstruther?
Heading from Edinburgh take the A90 which will be signposted for the Forth Road Bridge (toll bridge - cost £1). The Road changes from the A90 to the M90. Leave the M90 at junction 2A (signposted Glenrothes, Kirkcaldy), then merge onto the A92 which is a dual carriage way.
At the 1st roundabout take your 3rd exit onto A921 (signposted Kircaldy East). At the next roundabout take your 1st exit onto the A915 (signposted Leven, St Andrews). Continue on the A915 heading through Leven, Lower Largo, Upper Largo.
3 miles after leaving Upper Largo there will is a turning on your right A917 (signposted Elie, St Monans). You can take this road or you can continue along the main road which is now the B942. This will take you through Colinsburgh and you will join back on the A917 just before Pittenweem. Turn left, go through Pittenweem and 1 mile later you will arrive at Anstruther.
Turn right at the first mini roundabout and down Rodger Road. About 100m down take the 2nd right, this is Castle Street, it is a cobbled road and a dead end. You can park opposite the house or there is free parking back on Rodger Street or East Shore.
