From Edinburgh join the M9. Head for Stirling and come off at junction 10, signposted for Stirling, Callander and Crainlarich. Take the 2nd exit onto the A84 signposted Callander. Continue along the A84 pasing through Doune, Callander, Startheyre, Lochearnhead. The A84 becomes the A85. Continue on along A85 and enter Crainlarich. At Tyndrum bear left signposted for Oban. Pass through, Dalmally, Taynault and Connel. 5 miles on you will enter Oban. Head for the ferry terminal.
From Glasgow take the M8 signposted for the over the Erskine Bridge. Leqave the M8 at junction 30 and join the M898. Continue onto the A898 and over the Erskine Bridge. Bear left and continue on the A898 into Clydebank. Bear left onto the A82 signposted for Crainlarich and Campbeltown. Stay on the A82 until you reach Crainlarich. At the T junction turn left onto the A85. The rest of the directions are the same as from Edinburgh.
When you land on Coll leave the ferry terminal and head for the village, there is only one road. in the village take the left fork and 100 meters on take the right fork leaving the church on the left. At the next T junction turn right and you will pass the graveyard on the left about a mile on. One and a half miles further you will cross a cattle grid. The road to the house is immediately on the left.
