Check in from 3.00pm, check out by 10.30am.
A non refundable deposit of 25% is required. The balance of 75% is due 8 weeks before the holiday start date. Bookings made less than 8 weeks before the start date must be paid in full at the time of booking.
A security deposit of £100 is also required. This will be returned in full as long as the house has been left in the condition it was found.
We accept payment by sterling or cheque.
A maximum of eight people are allowed to stay in the house at one time (excluding babies in cots).
We have 1 travel cot available, you will need to supply your own bed linen for the cot.
All bed linen, duvets, blankets, towels and face cloths are provided.
The house is strictly non-smoking.
No pets are allowed in Mid Shore or the Loft House at any time. (See T&C's for Dogs at Skippers Rest at the bottom of the page).
Electricity and gas, central heating and hot water are all included in the price.
There is an open fire in the house. Please keep the guard in front of the fire at all times to stop accidental damage to the carpet and for safety reasons.
When leaving the property at the end of the week, it must be left in the same condition as found upon arrival. Additional cleaning charges will be imposed depending on the state of the house.
When renting the property you are responsible for making it secure when left unoccupied during your stay.
Any damage caused to the house, contents and any missing items from the inventory must be paid for.
Please have respect for the locals by not causing and disturbances and keeping noise to a minimum after 9pm.
Use of the holiday property is at the holidaymaker's own risk. No liability shall fall on the owners for injury to the holidaymakers or for loss of personal property belonging to the holidaymakers. We recommend that holiday insurance should be taken out.
The full price is due for cancelled holidays and although we will do our best to re-let the house we recommend that holiday cancellation insurance should also be taken out.
If for any reason beyond our control we are unable to provide the booked house we will refund all monies that you have paid in full and the holidaymakers will have no further claim against the owners.
By signing the booking form and / or by making an email or telephone booking with deposit / payment made by cash or cheque you are deemed to have accepted these booking conditions, and you must ensure that all members of your party understand and comply with these terms.
The owner reserves the right to demand the immediate departure of any holidaymaker/s not complying with the booking conditions, or for any conduct detrimental to the property.
Dogs in Skippers Rest - Anstruther
If you bring a dog it MUST be entered on your booking forms.
Dog owners are requested to bring a basket and or bedding for their pet.
Dogs must be under strict control and never left unattended in the property.
We would ask dog owners to respect the house and the enjoyment of other guests by restricting dogs to the public rooms, keeping them off all furniture and must not under any circumstances allow their pets to enter any of the bedrooms.
Owners must ensure the house is completely free from pet hair on departure to help future guests who may have allergies.
Pet owners are responsible for any damage caused by their pet and will be charged fully.
Should there be any fouling in the house a full cleaning charge will be charged. This may include new carpets.
We reserve the right to charge for additional cleaning inside or outside the property that was made necessary by the pet. This will be deducted from your security deposit.
Any guests found bringing in dogs without prior warning will waiver their full security deposit.
